We know life is busy. Between work, family and everything else on the calendar, finding time for yourself -let alone volunteering - isn't always easy. That's why Glen Ellyn Juniors is designed to let you get involved as much or as little as your schedule allows.
Whether you're looking to volunteer occasionally, support local families and organizations, meet new friends or become more involved in the community, there's a place for you here.
Come see what we're all about! Membership is open to all women age 18 and over. Join us at an upcoming meeting, bring a friend, and discover the many ways you can get involved throughout the year.
The Glen Ellyn Junior Woman's Club (GEJWC) has been bringing women together in service to our community since 1948. We are a nonprofit, non-partisan and non-denominational organization dedicated to supporting our neighbors and local organizations through service and philanthropy. Along the way, our members build friendships, learn more about their community and have a lot of fun doing it.
Membership Commitment
Member Meetings
Held in the evening at Glen Ellyn Civic Center or local venue
$40 Membership Dues
Help fund service project supplies, including blanket-making fleece, Thanksgiving turkeys, wrapping paper, grocery bags, toy drive supplies, and other project needs.
Service Projects
Take place throughout the year at meetings and with local nonprofit and community organizations.
Christmas Baskets Sponsor-A-Family Program
Members help plan, organize, volunteer, and support our largest service project of the year.
Calendar Year
September through June, with summers off for family time, vacations and fun!
